Our Craft

Built by Hand. Born in Austin.

The Workshop

From Hardwood to Heirloom

01

Kiln-Dried Hardwood Frames

Every frame begins with frame grade plywood and kiln-dried hardwood — stabilized against the seasonal shifts that would warp a lesser material. Mortise and tenon joinery and corner-blocked for decades of structural integrity.

Eight-Way Hand-Tied Springs

Beneath every cushion sits either a sinuous coil or Pirelli webbing support system, depending on the frame. Each is engineered to match the geometry and weight class of the piece, giving the seat a stable, responsive feel that holds its shape through years of daily use.

Cushioning & Fills

Multi-density HR foam cores are wrapped in fiber fill, down, or synthetic down. The result is a cushion that's supportive, plush, and shaped to hold up under daily life — including kids, pets, and the occasional cross-country move. Our cushions have a lifetime warranty.

Cutting & Sewing

Covers are precision-cut and sewn by seamstresses with decades of experience, then stretched and finished by hand by our upholsterers — not by an assembly line.

05

Hand-Stretched Upholstery

Once the cover is sewn, our upholsterers fit it to the frame piece by piece — stretching the fabric taut, stapling it in place, and dressing every panel by hand. The result is furniture where the fabric sits crisp on the frame, with no loose seams or visible fasteners.
